Sewing/Fashion Camp/City of Fullerton, ages 11-16
Treat your daughter to Sewing/Fashion Camp, offered this summer through the City of Fullerton. She will learn about patterns, the fashion industry procedures, textiles, the apparel process, and more. She will make her own skirt, start to finish. She, and her team, will create a fashion show, complete with a theme and choreography.

Summer 2012 is here! Don't you just love summer? For me, it is time
to do all the things that I wanted to do all year: read good books,
spend time with family, and, of course, sew and design fashions! I have
been busy designing for my new fashion t-shirt line: t-shirts for
charity.com. And, I have been busy planning the new Sizzling Summer
Fashion Design Workshops and Fashion Shows for girls, and, their moms!

You and your daughter deserve a little time together.
This workshop is designed to give girls, and their mothers, the
opportunity to learn directly from a working fashion designer about
selecting fabrics, apparel manufacturing, careers in fashion, and more.
Each girl, and mom, will select their own designer fabric, be
custom fitted with a pattern, will cut their fabric, and learn how to
sew together, as a Mother/Daughter team. Everyone will make a custom
skirt
to take home.
Sewing machines, to share, will be provided.
Please bring your own snack and a drink.

Students will have their choice of current designer fabrics to create a skirt. Sewing machines are provided. There will be a student-led fashion show on the final day & parents are encouraged to attend.
